SPRING LOADED – Random But Raw & Mark E-Lee

Random But Raw aka Rob Yellowley is a new forever improving hard dance and NRG producer from York. Using his influences such as The Prodigy, BK , Ingo, Ilogik, Paul Glazby, Captain Tinrib, RR Fierce, Grady G and most Nu NRG artists, he has developed his sound over the years to create his own raw unique sound and feeling to capture the future of Hardhouse/NRG music.

Starting off writing 9 years ago on a Playstation console game called Music (believe it or not) from the experience he soon fell in love with production and turned to professional PC software and has never looked back. Always striving to improve his sound and never being afraid to bring other genres into his music, he got his breakthrough, getting his first track released 'top of the head' on Slaughterhouse Records as a solo artist under Random But Raw. From then he has produced tracks for many digital labels such as Torture Traxx, Genuine Error Records, Polluted Filth, Starr Recordings and Nasty Digital to name a few and also is looking forward to vinyl releases on Oneway Records and Mad Cow Records early this year. From gaining that experience, he then collaborated with Mark E - Lee and Spring Loaded was born.

Mark Healy has been following the harder dance scene for over 10 years and being DJ’ing for most of that time in and around York and Leeds. Having grown up in a music studio environment, it was only natural to Mark to get involved in music production. Recognising the crisp sound of a studio and then applying his passion for dance music, Mark has tuned his style of production on a funky/hard edge. There will always be a hook that u won’t be able to resist shaking your booty to from this man.

Both using experiences and influences from the early bounce/hardhouse scene and a local event called Savaged.
